Following breakfast, you will be picked up by our tour guide to visit two temples in Kom Ombo and Edfu. Following breakfast, your flight to Alexandria will take place. See the largest Roman cemeteries in Egypt, the Kom El Shoqafa Catacombs, and the Roman Amphitheater. It was by accident that this place was discovered in the 1960s. There are thirteen marble seats encircling a lower-level stage that can hold up to 800 spectators in the only surviving Roman amphitheater in Egypt. Finish at the Alexandria National Museum, which features over 1,800 artifacts from Egypt's past and is situated in the former mansion of business magnate Asaad Bassili.
Following breakfast, you will be taken by our tour guide to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, where you may gain further insight into one of the most significant ancient intellectual hubs. Following breakfast, we will travel from Alexandria to Siwa to view the Western Desert of Egypt. Since you'll be driving for several hours, there aren't many plans for the day. El Alamein War Museum and Cemetery is a landmark that honors the Battles of El Alamein (1942) and World War II. Siwa is where you will have dinner and spend the night, so unwind there.
You will tour the Berber settlements in the Siwa Oasis after breakfast. Some of the most significant sites in Siwa, including the 26th dynasty tombs at the Mountain of the Dead (Gebel al-Mawta), the Ptolemaic era, and the Roman era, will be shown to you by your tour guide. The Cleopatra Bath offers swimming in one of the area's oasis springs. Visits to the Oracle Temple, a 26th-dynasty temple built in the sixth century BCE, and the Siwan House, a museum situated in a historic dwelling, can teach you more about the customs and culture of the area. Make a side trip to Fatnas Island to witness the sunset before heading back to Siwa for the evening.
